Doja Cat becomes a mythical creature and helps Teyana Taylor keep her throne in the music video of "Woman".
Doja Cat has prepared a new music video for the success of "Woman".
"Woman" is the song with which she opens the Grammy nominee album of "Planet Her", released this summer by Kemosabe / RCA Records / Sony Music.
It is an afrobeats ode to divine femininity, examining the different roles that women and, in this case Doja Cat herself, take on in society, praising the way women are able to move in and out from each of them with ease.
The lyrics send a message to a man, reminding him of all the great things that Doja Cat can offer him as a woman, in a broader appreciation of all that women are capable of doing and the hardships they have to endure because of their gender.
The music video for "Woman" was directed by child (Janelle Monáe, H.E.R.) and stars Doja Cat, singer, songwriter, actress, dancer and model Teyana Taylor and actress and model Guetcha.

In the video, an intergalactic queen is warned of an imminent threat to her throne before enlisting the most powerful weapon at her disposal: the Doja Cat.
The video continues with stunning images, futuristic costumes and skillfully choreographed dance sequences.
Doja Cat also partnered with Girls Who Code to create DojaCode, an interactive experience for the "Woman" music video.
Aiming to inspire a new generation of computer scientists, DojaCode invites fans to unlock exclusive content in Doja Cat's new music video using code.
Doja Cat was recently nominated for eight Grammy Awards, marking the second best harvest for 2022. Among other categories, it is nominated for Album of the Year, Recording of the Year and Song of the Year.
Last month Doja Cat won three awards at the American Music Awards 2021, for Favorite R&B Female Artist, Favorite R&B Album for "Planet Her" and for Collaboration of the Year for "Kiss Me More" with SZA.
