"Trap is part of my artistic existence and gives me plenty of space to be creative."
Ozuna returns to his latin trap roots with the new single "G Wagon".
Just two weeks after the release of "Deprimida", his first single for 2022, the award-winning singer and songwriter from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic surprises millions of his fans around the world with his new single and the accompanying music video, directed by Fernando Lugo.
The lyrics of "G Wagon" tell a story of erotic frustration and paranoia through the expressive and melodic voice of the diverse singer, who also stars in the action music video.
This single confirms the mastery that Ozuna has acquired in latin trap, a genre in which he has pioneered with iconic hits such as "En La Intimidad" (2016), his collaboration with La Ghetto, Farruko, Nicky Jam, Arcangel, J Balvin, Daddy Yankee, Zion and Anuel in the remix of "La Ocasión" (2016) and "El Farsante" (2018), among others.
Ozuna notes that he is happy to give another trap banger to his fans.
"Trap is one of the genres that I like to record, because I feel that it is part of my artistic being and it gives me plenty of space to be creative. Plus, my fans like to hear me sing it. "That's why I felt it was time to release 'G Wagon,'" he says.
"It is very important for me to continue to create and mix rhythms and styles with my production team, so that I can continue to evolve. "I have prepared a wide range of new songs that will satisfy the different tastes of people", he adds.
"G Wagon" was created by Ozuna in collaboration with producers Came Beats and Hi Flow.
Ozuna's plans for this year include the release of "Ozutochi"'s new album. The album will feature "Deprimida" which has garnered over 44 million views on YouTube in just two weeks since its release.
Ozuna started the year with his participation in the song "Santo" by Christina Aguilera. After this success of the last two singles, there is no doubt that 2022 will be another triumphant year for Ozuna.
