Miley Cyrus Unveils New Single “End Of The World” Ahead of Highly Anticipated Album
Miley Cyrus continues to captivate fans with the announcement of her latest single, End Of The World, set for release tomorrow, April 3.
A New Album with a Unique Vision
The iconic singer is gearing up to drop her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, on May 30 via Columbia Records. The album has already generated buzz with its striking cover art and production, a collaboration between Cyrus and Shawn Everett (Kacey Musgraves, Alabama Shakes).
Recently, Miley introduced the world to the album’s dramatic first single, Prelude, followed by the powerful title track, Something Beautiful.
“End Of The World” and Miley’s Cinematic Vision
The upcoming single further strengthens the album’s overarching narrative. Cyrus has emphasized that this project is not just an album—it’s a fully immersive musical and visual experience.
“Let’s pretend it’s not the end of the world,” she sings in a teaser clip, where she’s seen lying in front of a drum kit. The official music video is set to premiere on April 3 at 8 p.m. ET (1 a.m. BST, April 4).
Fans first got a glimpse of End Of The World last year when Cyrus performed a raw, emotional version at the Château Marmont in Los Angeles, hinting at the artistic direction of her new era.
A Visual Album Experience
Beyond the album, Cyrus is also launching a cinematic adaptation of Something Beautiful, which she describes as a “pop opera.” The film is set to hit theaters in June.
She has drawn comparisons between this ambitious project and Pink Floyd’s The Wall, but with an added touch of modern glamour and pop culture flair.
With Something Beautiful, Miley Cyrus appears to be embracing an adventurous, visually stunning era of artistry—one that is sure to spark conversation and push creative boundaries.
