Florence + The Machine are releasing their second single for this year.

Just two weeks ago, Florence + The Machine returned to the music scene with the excellent "King" with the help of Jack Antonoff in the production.
"King" describes a reflection on female nature, family, femininity and the reversal of expectations, where Florence Welch declares: "I am not a mother, I am not a bride, I am a king!".

Florence + The Machine is now releasing the single "Heaven Is Here" along with a music video once again directed by acclaimed Autumn de Wilde and choreographed by Ryan Heffington.
It is a simple but at the same time dynamic song, with many percussions and an acoustic guitar, but also with a very empty space that is filled with the magnificent interpretation of Florence Welch.

Florence Welch explains about the song: "" Heaven Is Here "was the first song I wrote in lockdown after a long period of not being able to go to the studio. I wanted to create something monstrous. And that cry of joy, anger and sadness was the first thing that came out. "

"With the dance studios also closed it was my dream to one day create a choreography with this song. "So, it's one of the first pieces of music that I made specifically for contemporary dance," he says.
Florence Welch adds that the video for "Heaven Is Here" was shot in Kyiv, Ukraine in November 2021 and that two of the dancers who took part in the shooting are currently in shelters due to the Russian invasion of the country.
