Cannons - Fire for You

The alternative / electro-pop band of CANNONS has made its presence felt with the song "Fire For You".

Directed by Ryan Rundle, the music video for the single follows the story of a wounded bride, played by CANNONS frontwoman Michelle Joy, as she escapes her marriage to her groomsmen (band members Ryan and Paul) for to find peace outside the city.

CANNONS told "Fire For You" speaking to "Idolator": "This song describes what it's like to uproot your heart and the feeling of finding the closing of a situation through the company of your friends."

"We are very excited to finally have the opportunity to take a cinematic look at our sound, with the help of director Ryan Rundle, cinematographer Corey Jennings and production designer Francesca Palombo."

"Fire For You" is included on CANNONS 'second album, "Shadows", which was released independently in 2019, while the accompanying music video was the band' s first release since beginning its collaboration with Sony Music 's Columbia Records.

The song was heard in one of the episodes of Netflix's "Never Have I Ever" series and already has over 30 million streams, and has already received significant support from America's major radio stations as well as rave reviews from Elton John during of the "Rocket Hour" show on Apple Music Beats 1.

CANNONS always have good memories from their career and they remember to make a soundtrack every moment, looking forward to tomorrow at the same time.

Created in 2013, they consist of longtime friends Ryan Clapham (guitar), Paul Davis (drums, keyboards) and Michelle Joy (vocals).
