Baz Luhrmann's film was very moving for the Elvis Presley family.
Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough talked about the complex feelings that Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis" created in their family.
In an excerpt from "Exclusively Elvis: A Special Edition of 20/20", which aired Tuesday night on ABC News, mother and daughter spoke enthusiastically about the new film starring Austin Butler as the father of Lisa Marie and Keough's grandfather, the late Elvis Presley.
"It was a very emotional experience. "As Riley said, it brings to the surface the wounds of generations - in a good way," said Lisa Marie Presley.
And Riley, after 5 minutes, was already saying, "I'm done." "He was already crying and I was crying," he added.
Riley Keough said: "It was very intense. "As a film, it's just a great film."
A few days earlier, "Good Morning America" aired an interview with Priscilla Presley about the film. Priscilla Presley met Olivia DeJonge, who plays her in the movie "Elvis", and talked about the feelings she experienced watching her life being transferred to the screen.
"I would sit there and watch this movie and say, 'Oh my God, I wish he could see that,'" Priscilla said of the movie and how she thinks her late ex-husband, Elvis Presley, would react. "It was perfect".

They also talked about a scene in the movie where Priscilla asks Elvis to seek treatment for his "drug addiction", with Priscilla saying that the scene "awakened her memories".
"As time went on, the fact that he was rebelling became more and more frightening," he recalled.
Priscilla also praised Austin Butler for her role as Elvis Presley.
"Austin was just incredible. As I watched it, I actually said, "Wow, this is a movie that (Elvis) would really love." It shows who he was, what he was trying to achieve, what his dreams were ".
Priscilla Presley noted that although it is "strange" to see her play an actress on the big screen, she is happy with the appearance of Olivia DeJonge in the film.
"I'm so happy that she was sensitive and caring and that she was a little strong with him, and you know, I think he did a very, very good job, I was pleasantly surprised," he admitted.
The movie "Elvis", starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, will be released in Greek cinemas on June 23.
