Billie Eilish surprised the audience of the second three days of the music festival "Coachella" in California by putting Hayley Williams on stage on Saturday night (Sunday morning Greek time) to perform the success of "Misery Business" by Paramore.
Prior to Hayley Williams' appearance, Billie Eilish sang "Your Power" from her latest album "Happier Than Ever" with her brother Finneas accompanying her on acoustic guitar. The end of the song was followed by a pause, during which anticipation filled the air and Eilish sat on a stool to introduce her guest.
"Oh, look! An empty seat. "Who is this for?" Billie Eilish said with a sly look. "Everyone, we can welcome my girlfriend, Hayley Williams!"
Hayley Williams and Billie Eilish performed an acoustic rendition of Paramore's pop-punk song "Misery Business" which was released in 2007 with Finneas and another guitarist.
Eilish seemed glad she had Williams invited, making an excited scream when the Paramore singer took the stage. They both jumped and hugged as Williams addressed the audience.
"This is my first time at Coachella, wow," said Hayley Williams. "Thank you for sharing it with me. "It's crazy!" He continued.
Before starting their duet, Billie Eilish asked, "Hayley, do you want to sing something?" And Williams replied, "Yes, I'm better at singing than talking."
"Misery Business" was perfectly adapted to the loud voices of both singers, with Hayley Williams singing the first couplet and Billie Eilish adding a lower harmony to the chorus.
"We sound good," Williams commented before Eilish sang the second verse with her characteristically whispered interpretation.
"Oh my God," Eilish exclaimed as Williams left the stage. "What on Earth could be more beautiful than that?" "I speak very seriously," he said.
Last weekend, in her first three-day appearance on "Coachella", Billie Eilish welcomed Gorillaz Damon Albarn to perform "Feel Good Inc" with De La Soul's Posdnuos.
