Kanye West is being accused by a former employee of hiring private investigators to monitor his wife, Bianca Censori, and investigate the Kardashian family. According to *Rolling Stone*, the anonymous individual, referred to as John Doe, has filed a 22-page lawsuit against the 47-year-old rapper.
The ex-employee initially joined West's team as a campaign manager during his contemplation of another presidential run in late 2022, but his role later shifted to "Director of Intelligence." Doe claims he was responsible for managing West's public image by reducing "risks and bad press," which included secretly following Bianca during her visit to family in Australia and investigating Kim Kardashian, West's ex-wife and mother of his four children, along with her famous family.
Doe alleges that by May, West began displaying increasingly erratic behavior, such as spending $850,000 on titanium teeth and dismissing a large portion of his Yeezy leadership team. The accuser supports claims made by former Yeezy chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, that West was allegedly using nitrous oxide.
Attorney Ronald Zambrano told *Rolling Stone*, "My client believes there's a connection between the nitrous oxide and the heightened paranoia and siege mentality that developed during the time Doe worked for West. There were internal concerns regarding the significant amount of nitrous oxide being delivered to West's residence."
The lawsuit further claims that Doe's employment ended after raising concerns from a teacher at Kanye's Donda Academy regarding student safety. Following this, Doe alleges West called him, yelling and threatening physical harm, including death, if he shared any information disclosed by the Donda employee.
Doe is suing West for emotional distress, retaliation, and multiple violations of California labor laws, seeking compensation for unpaid wages, legal fees, and damages. His lawyers stated that the plaintiff suffered panic attacks, anxiety, and severe emotional distress, leading him to seek medical treatment and admission to a facility to address his mental health decline.
