Kanye West apologizes to Kim Kardashian for upsetting her

Kanye West has publicly apologized to Kim Kardashian for the upset he caused her.

In an interview on "Good Morning America," Kanye West opened up about his ex-wife and expressed regret for the way he treated her amid their divorce.

"She is the mother of my children. I apologize for any upset I caused her," he said of Kim Kardashian, whom he married in 2014.

“Even in my indignation, because God is calling me to be stronger. I want this person to be less burdened and have the best, sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise these children,” he added.

Asked if he feels he has a say in custody of their four children, Kanye West said he does, but said he had to "fight" to do so.

“I have a voice, but I had to fight for it. That hurts when you have to yell about what your kids are wearing," she commented.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021.

Following their split, the hip-hop star launched repeated Instagram attacks at both her and Pete Davidson, with whom Kim Kardashian had a brief nine-month relationship.

In a second excerpt from the "Good Morning America" interview, Kanye West was asked by reporter Linsey Davis about his views on social media.

"That's one of my favorite questions in this interview," the 45-year-old rapper replied.

"We can use a car to take someone to the hospital, we can use a car and accidentally hit someone while taking someone to the hospital, so it all depends on how we use it," he said.
