Eminem did not calculate the cost in order to add this rare find to his collection.

How much would you be prepared to pay for a copy of a classic hip-hop album? Eminem, however, spent about $ 600, as he revealed during a discussion on the popular "Clubhouse" application.

While the growing Clubhouse community has sparked controversy in the past, Detroit rapper fans held a festive "Shady Con" in his honor last weekend, with guests such as manager Paul Rosenberg and DJ Whoo Kid.

The discussion was also attended by Eminem himself, who shared various stories and told his fans about the day he had to spend a little more money to add to the collection the debut album "Illmatic" by Nas's hero, released in 1994.

"I have been collecting everything since I was a child, from comics to baseball cards and games, as well as every cassette rap album I could get my hands on. "Not much has changed for me as an adult," he explained.

When he found a sealed copy of his Nas album cassette he changed his data, he was immediately impressed.

"I think it came from old stocks that record stores had in warehouses. The cassettes were never sold and they just kept them. That's the only thing I can think of. "Because no one would have an 'Illmatic' cassette and not open it," he said.
