Drake overtakes the Beatles for longest Billboard 200 reign in history

Drake has shattered yet another milestone — and this time, it places him above some of the most iconic names in music history. The Canadian rap titan has officially surpassed The Beatles to become the artist with the most cumulative weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.

With a staggering total of 3,348 weeks across all his projects, Drake eclipses the legendary Beatles, who held a long-standing record with 3,311 weeks. It's a historic moment that cements Drake’s status as a defining artist of his generation.

Several of his albums have become chart mainstays, including:

  • Take Care — 578 weeks

  • Nothing Was the Same — 505 weeks

  • Views — 411 weeks

  • More Life — 350 weeks

  • Scorpion — 300 weeks

Every new Drake release seems destined for longevity, consistently dominating the charts and reinforcing his staying power in an ever-evolving music industry.

This isn’t the first Beatles record he’s toppled. Back in 2022, Drake became the artist with the most Top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, overtaking the British icons once again.

Though Taylor Swift briefly claimed the title in 2024 with 3,313 weeks, Drake has now secured the top position. Eminem also remains a strong contender in the conversation, rounding out the top 10 with 2,423 total weeks.

From viral singles to cultural anthems, Drake’s discography continues to set the pace — and now, the history books too.
