Billie Eilish: The new album "Happier Than Ever" debuts at No. 1 of the Billboard 200

"Happier Than Ever" gives Billie Eilish another first.
Billie Eilish wins her second Billboard 200 debut as her new album "Happier Than Ever" debuts at the top of the list with sales equivalent to 238,000 albums.

"Happier Than Ever", released by Darkroom / Interscope Records / Universal Music on July 30, marked the fifth best-selling week in the United States for 2021. The best-selling week of the year was "Sour" Olivia Rodrigo, who entered No. 1 with 295,000 points.

According to MRC Data, out of the total of 238,000 sales of "Happier Than Ever", 153,000 are net (physical and digital) album sales, also the album with the highest sales of the week in the US, while 84,000 units correspond to 113.87 million on-demand streams of the 16 songs of the album.

Finally, slightly higher than 1,000 were the sales of individual songs of the album.

The first week of "Happier Than Ever" was supported by strong sales, with 153,000 net sales albums being the third best week in net sales for 2021.

Of Happier Than Ever's 153,000 net sales in all its forms, physical sales include 129,000 copies, with an impressive 73,000 sales on vinyl (the second best week of 2021), 46,000 on CDs and almost 10,000 on cassette and 24,000 sales via digital download.

Billboard notes that vinyl sales of Billie Eilish's new album were so high that "Happier Than Ever" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week. 2 of the general classification is "F * ck Love (Over You)" by The Kid LAROI with 65,000 points.

"Happier Than Ever" is Billie Eilish's second full-length album, following in the footsteps of "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" of 2019, which also debuted at No. 1 and remained in first place for a total of three consecutive weeks.

"When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" completed 2019 as the top album on the Billboard 200 and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and the Billboard Music Award for Top Album of the Billboard 200. So far, Billie Eilish's debut album has just over 5 million sales on USA, of which 1.2 million correspond to net album sales.
