"COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like God knew we needed to because we were going to start a family," Rihanna told Interview magazine.
"And had it not been for COVID, we would've taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready."

Louis Tomlinson no longer feels like he's in competition with his former One Direction bandmates.
The 32-year-old singer has admitted it took him a long time to stop comparing his solo success to that of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, all 30, and Zayn Malik, 31, who quit before they went on an indefinite hiatus in 2015, and admitted it became "a little bit toxic".
Asked by Brazil's G1 publication if he still feels competitive with his fellow 1D stars, he replied: "No, I don't. Truthfully. But I do think that anyone — and obviously, there won't be a lot of people who can relate to this — but anyone who has been in a similar situation of being in a band and then......

Madonna became emotional as she honoured the victims of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting during her concert in Miami, Florida on Tuesday.
The Vogue singer took a moment during her Celebration Tour stop to recognise those affected by the tragedy, during which 49 people were killed and 53 were injured at a gay nightclub in Orlando seven years ago.
"I want to draw attention to that moment because nightclubs and music and dance are what bring us together. They shouldn't be places or things that we do that bring us sadness and tragedy and murder and death and pain and suffering and trauma," Madonna said, according to footage obtained by local outlet WKMG News 6. "But, unfortunately, human......
Billie Eilish has denied "singling out" Taylor Swift when she criticised artists who release multiple variations of the same album.
The Happier Than Ever singer published a statement on her Instagram Stories on Sunday insisting that most artists release multiple versions of the same album to encourage fans to buy them all and boost their sales figures.
"Okay so it would be so awesome if people would stop putting words into my mouth and actually read what I said in that billboard article. I wasn't singling anyone out, these are industry-wide systemic issues," she wrote, before acknowledging that she does it too.
"When it comes to variants, so many artists release them - including ME!......
