Powfu

Isaiah Faber (born March 31, 1999), known professionally as Powfu, is a Canadian musician.He is best known for his song "Death Bed", featuring Filipino-British singer Beabadoobee. The single has received over 700 million plays on Spotify and peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 after amassing popularity through the video sharing app, TikTok, where over 4 million videos using the song have been posted.Upon re-releasing the single commercially a year after, Powfu signed with Columbia Records. Papik is the project born from an idea by Rome based producer Nerio Poggi, composer and arranger with nu-jazz, soul, pop backgrounds, who's worked with Mario Biondi on his "Handful of soul" and "I love you more" albums. The Papik project is linked to the typical Nu-Jazz sound and has among its collaborators has the voices of Ely Bruna and Alan Scaffardi. Among the musicians involved we'd like to mention Fabrizio Foggia on piano, Pierpaolo Ranieri on bass, Fabio Tullio on sax and Massimo Guerra on trumpet. Professor refers to one of at least five different artists/groups:1) Professor is a South African kwaito artist (part of the duo of Tzozo & Professor) whose 2010 solo record, "University of Kalawa Jazmee" (Kalawa Jazmee Records) was certified gold as of December 2010.
