
The Weeknd has achieved his fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Hurry Up Tomorrow, which debuted at the top of the chart on February 15.
According to Luminate, the album earned 490,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending February 6. This marks the biggest weekly performance for an album since Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department debuted at No. 1 on May 4, 2024, with 2.61 million units.
Additionally, Hurry Up Tomorrow recorded the best opening week for an R&B/hip-hop album since Travis Scott’s Utopia debuted at No. 1 on August 12, 2023, with 496,000 units.
