The Weeknd re-releases "House of Balloons" in its full version

"House of Balloons" comes for the first time on digital platforms in its complete version.
The Weeknd has prepared a special surprise to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its debut with the groundbreaking mixtape "House of Balloons".

Ten years ago, The Weeknd emerged on the Toronto R&B scene and laid the groundwork for his astronomical career with songs such as "High For This", "Wicked Games" and "The Morning", which were included in the mixtape. .

"House of Balloons" was released on March 21, 2011 and was initially available for free.

The mixtape was released on digital platforms in February 2015, however the samples were removed from the songs of the version that was uploaded to the streaming services.

On the day that marks ten years since the debut of "House of Balloons", on Sunday, March 21, The Weeknd will release for the first time digitally the original version of the mixtape, which will include all the mixes and samples of the original version.

In addition, The Weeknd will celebrate the anniversary with an exclusive collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham.

As part of their collaboration, a sculpture based on the cover of "House of Balloons" will be unveiled, while they will also release a transparent mixape vinyl in a limited edition of 1,000 copies and a varsity jacket inspired by The Weeknd's appearance on its first live show, at the "Mod Club" in Toronto in 2011.

It is a great privilege to work with The Weeknd and the XO team to redefine the iconic cover of "House of Balloons" as an eroded sculpture for the tenth anniversary of its release. "
