The Weeknd & Ariana Grande Release 'Die For You' Remix

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande continue their nearly decade-long collaboration with a remix of 'Die For You' that's gone viral again.

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande are teaming up once again.

The two pop giants release a new remix of the hit 'Die For You' from The Weeknd's 2016 album 'Starboy', which has been given new life of late.

"Die For You" has recently enjoyed an impressive rise up the charts, with the song remaining in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for the past seven weeks, peaking at No. 6, its highest position in seven years.

In 2016, "Die For You" initially peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100. Seven years later, during the week ending January 14, 2023, the song re-entered the Hot 100 at No. 11, before scoring a even higher climbing to No. 6.

On November 25, 2021, the fifth anniversary of 'Starboy', The Weeknd released a music video for 'Die For You' for the first time.

In the original version of "Die For You," The Weeknd sings about the conflicting emotions and pain he feels when he has to let go of someone he still has strong feelings for.

Although the song was released in 2016, The Weeknd is capitalizing on its momentum and resurgence after seven years with the help of Ariana Grande.

Ariana Grande appears about a minute into the 'Die For You' remix with her voice belting out the chorus alongside The Weeknd, before following in with her own verse.

"I find ways to stay focused on what I gotta do / But baby, it's so hard around you / And yeah, I blame you," Ariana Grande sings in the remix's new lyrics, and continues, "And you know I can't I'm faking it, now or never / You're hinting that you think we might be better / Better you and me."

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande have made a power duo with proven chemistry.

In 2021, the two pop stars collaborated on the remix of "Save Your Tears" from The Weeknd's "After Hours" album, which they dominated for two weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

The Weeknd was also featured on both 'Love Me Harder' from the album 'My Everything' (2014) and 'Off The Table' from Ariana Grande's album 'Positions' (2020).
