Ed Sheeran recorded "Bad Habits" in an "old cottage" filming of the "Bridgerton" series.
Ed Sheeran talked about the process of recording his new album and explained that he will not be repeating music and releasing songs in the same style.

If you are an artist releasing new music and there is a song like "Good 4 U" by Olivia Rodrigo or there are The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber (with "Stay"), when you release new music and there is a song that makes four times more streams than the song that is on No. "2, you basically have to do better than everyone else and then better than the one who does better than everyone else," he said in an interview with the UK-based radio show "KISS Breakfast".

"So I looked at that and said I would be happy if 'Bad Habits' goes to the Top 10," he said.

"Fortunately it went a little better, but you can never take these things for granted," he said of the sweeping success of "Bad Habits," which has completed eleven consecutive weeks in No. 1 of the British chart.

Ed Sheeran recorded his forthcoming album "=" (Equals), but also "Bad Habits", in his hometown, Suffolk, England and in homes throughout the time he rented online.

"Bad Habits" was filmed in an old cottage where some of "Bridgerton" was filmed. "We had to bring generators to power the studio, there was also no central heating, so literally one of my friends lit fires," he described.

"It sounds so hippy to say it, but I really feel that the studios have no emotion in them, they are made to have a good sound, but there is not much emotion in the recording studios and I feel that every time I write songs at home there is a different energy." , he continued.

"It sounds very hippie, but I just found that when I rented a house for a week, I would go in, set up a studio and write good songs and then pack and go to another house and rent it and do the same and find that it worked." he said.

"Every time I did that, a great song came out," said Ed Sheeran.

"Bridgerton" is an American television drama series based on Julia Quinn's novels set in the competitive world of early 19th century London.
