Taylor Swift has reportedly distributed $197 million (£154 million) in bonuses to the cast and crew of her record-breaking The Eras Tour.
The pop sensation wrapped up her 149-show concert series with a final performance in Vancouver, Canada, last weekend.
Following reports that The Eras Tour is now the highest-grossing tour of all time, People magazine revealed on Monday that Taylor had awarded substantial bonuses to everyone involved in the production. The recipients included "truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merchandise team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band members, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics crew, riggers, hair and makeup artists, wardrobe teams, physical therapists, and the video crew."
While representatives for Taylor have not commented on these reports, this isn't the first time her generosity has made headlines. In August 2023, People reported that the Cruel Summer singer had handed out $55 million (£43 million) in bonuses to employees at the conclusion of the tour's North American leg.
Additionally, on Monday, Taylor Swift Touring confirmed to The New York Times that ticket sales for the tour had reached a staggering $2,077,618,725, marking a record-breaking achievement—double the gross of any previous concert tour in history.
Before performing Lover at the final show, Taylor took a moment to express her gratitude to her fans. "We’ve toured the entire world with this tour. We’ve had so many adventures. It’s been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, and most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life," the 34-year-old said. "We’ve performed for over 10 million people on this tour. And tonight, we get to play one last show for you here in beautiful Vancouver. We’re about to embark on one final grand adventure together."
