Many celebrities send their wishes for Beyoncé's birthday.
Actors, singers, athletes, politicians and many more express their love for Beyoncé and celebrate her impact, as the artist and world cultural idol turned 40 years old.

In a four-minute video released by Harper's Bazaar on September 4, Oprah Winfrey, US First Lady Jill Biden, MP Maxine Waters, actors Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Mindy Kaling, Maya Rudolph, Issa Rae, Laverne Cox, singers Taylor Swift, Billie Ellish, Stevie Wonder, Chris Martin, professional athlete Allyson Felix and even Miss Piggy shared their best wishes for Beyoncé as she enters the next decade of her life.

"Thank you for 40 years of incredible presence. You are a great gift to the world, "said Emil Wilbekin, founder of Native Son, a platform that aims to inspire and empower black gay men.

In addition to the established birthday messages, some revealed their favorite Beyoncé song, while others highlighted the impact - both personal and cultural - that the music star has had over the years.

Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and actress Maya Rudolph thanked Beyoncé for sharing her grace, humanity and bravery with the world. "The world is a better place with you in it," Rudolph said.

Taylor Swift acknowledged that Beyoncé has opened up "the path that every female artist now walks". "You did it with so much kindness and grace. "I have to say that I admire you so much that there is no proper word for it."

"You have given me and so many others the freedom to embrace who we are," said Laverne Cox, star of Orange Is the New Black and Promising Young Woman. "You have given us a blueprint for excellence: when we think you can not surpass yourself, you surpass it."

Felix, the American track and field star who recently set a new medal record during the recent Tokyo Olympics, described Beyoncé as "an endless inspiration every time I enter the track", while Reese Witherspoon called her an "incredible case of of light, of beauty in this world ".

Beyoncé was interviewed in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, where she spoke about her 40s, what she wants for the next decade, and the pressures she faced when she was a young Black artist trying to "break down systemic imbalances."
