"I Hate U" was uploaded to digital platforms at the request of SZA fans.
SZA has officially released the new single "I Hate U" on all streaming services, which it anonymously posted on SoundCloud in August.
"It started as an experiment on SoundCloud, but you all asked for it for streaming, here it is," the multi-platinum and award-winning artist wrote on Twitter for "I Hate U", a groovy separation song based on her lyrical immediacy.
"I Hate U" is one of three songs released by SZA on SoundCloud in August along with "Joni" and "Nightbird", which have not yet been officially released.
In fact, "I Hate U" is SZA's first single in almost a year and the universally acclaimed "Good Days", which was unveiled on Christmas Day 2020 and has gone double platinum in the United States.
