Shootings with injuries on the set of French Montana's video clip in Miami

Police are unable to confirm the exact number of injured – One injured in critical condition
Several people were injured in a shooting outside The Licking restaurant in Miami on Thursday night, January 5, while French Montana was filming a music video.

According to Fox News, paramedics and the Miami-Dade Fire Department rushed to the scene and transported four of the injured to area hospitals, with one of them in critical condition.

In all, about 10 people were injured in the shooting, but Miami Gardens police could not confirm the exact number of injured, according to CBS News, as several were taken to the hospital on their own.

At least four of the injured required airlift and were flown by helicopter to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Police said the condition of the injured was unknown, but stressed there were no deaths.

"We believe this is an isolated incident," added Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt.

An eyewitness named Ced Mogul told WSVN that the shots were fired during the filming of a French Montana music video in the restaurant's parking lot.

At one point a person in the crowd watching the shooting was robbed and had his watch and wallet taken, which escalated the situation, according to Mogul, who added that about 15 shots were fired before people began to run everywhere.

“It was at least 13, 14, 15 shots. They were very fast, it sounded like an automatic rifle. I ran away and I was looking back, but I was like, “You know something? Let me bend over first,' and then people started asking me, 'Can you help me?'" he described.

“When we heard the shots... people started running, some had blood on their shirts, some were crying on the ground. It's just tragic," said another eyewitness.

It's not known if French Montana was injured during the incident, but TMZ reports that a witness at the scene said the singer's security team removed him from the area safely and without incident.

So far, no information has been made public about the perpetrator of the attack, while the condition of all the victims is currently unknown.

A police source said authorities will review several videos posted on social media, as well as security camera footage from nearby businesses, to identify the attacker.
