Shakira: Her new album will reveal "the whole truth" about the split with Gerard Piqué

Shakira "will not hesitate to reveal to everyone what happened."

Shakira's new album will be influenced by the singer's high-profile split with now ex-footballer Gerard Piqué.

Shakira showed a sample of her wild intentions with her collaboration with Argentinian producer Bizarrap on the recent song "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol 53", which immediately went viral and was characterized as a direct attack on her ex-partner and father children of the singer.

Gerard Piqué, who last year announced his decision to retire from the courts, has formalized the relationship with 23-year-old student Clara Chia Marti, who was allegedly the rock of scandal in his relationship with Shakira.

According to the latest rumors, Shakira's next album will delve even deeper into the heartache caused by their breakup and reveal every detail of the infidelity.

A music insider told the British newspaper The Sun on Sunday's "Bizarre" column: "Her next album will definitely be a tell-all record and she won't hesitate to reveal to everyone what happened."

"He was working on another record before he suspected the infidelity, so these songs are being rewritten with a new ending to give fans a fuller picture of the truth," he revealed.

As for the direction of the new songs she's preparing this time around, the source added: "Those who have heard snippets say it's a mix of Latin, rock and hip hop and they're more empowering than angry."

Shakira, who mentioned that Gerard Piqué had "traded a Rolex for a Casio" in the lyrics of her recent single "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol 53", said the song is about "women who rise up against those who make us we feel insignificant."

Bizarrap and Shakira's "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol 53" recorded more than 63 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release, setting the record for the best debut by a Latin song in the history of the platform.
