Shakira Adds Three New Mexico Shows to Her Record-Breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour

Shakira makes history once again — adding three new shows in Mexico to her record-breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, solidifying her status as the most successful Latin performer of all time

Shakira continues her reign as one of the most powerful forces in global pop. The Colombian superstar has announced three additional concerts in Mexico for February 2026, extending her monumental Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour and breaking yet another of her own records.

According to promoter OCESA, the new dates bring the total number of shows in Mexico to 31, an unprecedented achievement for any female artist in Latin American history. The new performances will take place on February 21 at Víctor Manuel Reyna Stadium in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, February 24 at Carlos Iturralde Stadium in Mérida, and February 27 at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City — a venue that holds special meaning for Shakira.

It was there, in August 2025, that Shakira performed 12 consecutive sold-out shows, shattering attendance records with over 65,000 fans per night and more than 780,000 tickets sold in total. The run became one of the most successful live residencies in Mexican concert history, further cementing her as Latin America’s ultimate live performer.

The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour, inspired by her acclaimed 2024 album of the same name, has already been hailed as a cultural phenomenon. With its empowering message and high-octane performances, the tour celebrates female resilience and transformation, reflecting Shakira’s own rebirth both personally and artistically.

Each show is an electrifying mix of dance, live instrumentation, and immersive visuals — a full-scale celebration of identity and empowerment. The singer’s connection to her audience remains unmatched; her performances in Mexico often feel more like family reunions than concerts, with fans chanting her name long before she steps on stage.

With over 1 million tickets sold in Mexico alone, the tour has become the most commercially successful by any international artist in the country’s history. For many fans, Shakira represents more than just a pop icon — she’s a symbol of strength, cultural pride, and global unity through music.

Following her record-breaking Mexican run, Shakira will continue her Latin American leg with shows in Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina, before closing out the year in the United States with a three-night residency at Hard Rock Live Florida from December 27–29, 2026.

Her career resurgence over the past two years — marked by viral hits, award wins, and a renewed sense of creative freedom — has reaffirmed her position as one of the world’s most influential artists. Each performance on this tour feels like a declaration: Shakira is not just surviving — she’s thriving, evolving, and redefining what it means to be a global star.

Decades into her career, she continues to expand her impact, not only musically but culturally. Her ability to merge genres, languages, and identities makes her a true pioneer — one who can fill stadiums while empowering millions.

As Mexico prepares to welcome her once again in 2026, Shakira’s story enters a new chapter — one where emotion, movement, and legacy intertwine. It’s not just a concert series. It’s a celebration of endurance, freedom, and the unbreakable rhythm of a woman who refuses to stop shining.
