Sabrina Carpenter shares her favorite artists

Sabrina Carpenter recently shared her initial hesitation about posting her Spotify Wrapped results, fearing it might seem "conceited" since her own music featured prominently on her list.

The singer’s hit Espresso became the most-streamed song of 2024 on Spotify, with 1.6 billion streams worldwide. In an interview with Vogue, Sabrina revealed she appeared in her own top five most-listened-to artists. "When I first saw mine, my initial reaction was, 'Oh, damn, I can't post that, because I'm on my own (list). It's a bit conceited,'" she said. However, she later embraced the idea. "I guess it's a good thing that I'm on my list and listening to my own music because it means I f**k with what I do."

Her top five artists also included Dolly Parton, the Bee Gees, ABBA, and Kacey Musgraves, showcasing her eclectic taste in music.

In the same interview, Sabrina, 25, opened up about starring in her own Netflix festive variety show, A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter. Describing the production process as fast-paced and chaotic, she said, "There was just no time; I feel like I blacked out, and we shot it. I don't know what happened. We actually shot it in two days, so it was kind of a s**t show—but in the best possible way... You can’t really be mad when everyone is dressed like Christmas."

The show featured cameos from stars like Shania Twain and Chappell Roan, which Sabrina called a dream come true. "It’s been such a beautiful gift to celebrate everything these amazing women have done this year," she explained. She especially cherished working with Twain, adding, "Shania f**king Twain! I’ve looked up to her my whole life. There was a lot of giggles on set."
