Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating her first two Grammy wins with the release of a deluxe edition of her hit album, Short n’ Sweet—featuring a surprise collaboration with the legendary Dolly Parton.
Set for release on February 14, just two days after her Grammy victories, the deluxe edition was announced by Carpenter on social media, where she also unveiled the cover art and tracklist. Among the standout surprises? A remix of her hit single “Please Please Please” featuring none other than Dolly Parton.
In her post, Carpenter described the deluxe edition as a heartfelt thank-you to her fans for their unwavering support of both the album and her Grammy success.
“The deluxe Short n’ Sweet is available for pre-order,” she wrote, adding excitedly: “And yes, it features Miss Dolly Parton… I hate to rant, but what the hell!”
A Tribute to Dolly Parton’s Influence
Carpenter has often cited Dolly Parton as one of her biggest musical inspirations. In fact, the queen of country was among the top artists the 25-year-old singer listened to on Spotify in 2024, alongside ABBA, Kacey Musgraves, the Bee Gees, and—humorously—herself.
Parton’s influence is woven into Short n’ Sweet, with tracks like “Please Please Please” and “Slim Pickins’” embracing a distinct country aesthetic.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Grammy Domination
The release of the deluxe edition comes at a time of career-defining success for Carpenter. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, she received six nominations and took home two major wins:
Best Pop Album – Short n’ Sweet
Best Pop Solo Performance – Espresso
In addition to her victories, Carpenter stunned the audience with a dazzling Grammy performance, delivering “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” with a show-stopping Busby Berkeley-style staircase routine. The performance also featured comedic falls, paying homage to Goldie Hawn’s iconic television appearances from the 1970s—a testament to Carpenter’s multi-dimensional artistry.
New Songs & Chart-Topping Success
Alongside the Dolly Parton remix, the deluxe edition of Short n’ Sweet introduces four brand-new tracks:
“15 Minutes”
“Couldn’t Make It Any Harder”
“Busy Woman”
“Bad Reviews”
The original album, released in August 2024, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, holding the top spot for four consecutive weeks—marking Carpenter’s first-ever No. 1 album.
Meanwhile, three of its singles—“Espresso”, “Taste”, and “Please Please Please”—all reached the Top 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Please Please Please” soaring to No. 1.
Across the Atlantic, the same tracks dominated the UK charts, collectively holding the No. 1 position for a total of 21 weeks in 2024.
