Rita Ora: What she responds to rumors that she came between Beyoncé and JAY-Z's wedding

Rita Ora vehemently denies she was the 'Becky with the nice hair' that JAY-Z allegedly cheated on Beyoncé with.

Rita Ora has called the rumors that she came between Beyoncé and JAY-Z's wedding "crazy".

In the song "Sorry," from her 2016 album "Lemonade," Beyoncé hinted that her husband was having an affair, singing, "He only wants me when I'm not there / Better call Becky with the nice hair ».

Some netizens claimed that Rita Ora, who was previously signed to JAY-Z's Roc Nation record label, was actually 'Becky' as she posted a selfie on social media wearing a bra with lemon pattern and a 'J' necklace.

Rita Ora denied the rumors at the time and again referred to the "crazy speculation" during an interview with Louis Theroux on the BBC on Tuesday.

"When Beyoncé released her album, there was a mystery woman called 'Becky with the nice hair' that JAY-Z allegedly cheated on her with," said Louis Theroux.

"Then sometime in 2016, with 'Lemonade' coming out, you uploaded a picture of yourself with lemons in your bra and a 'J' around your neck..." she continued.

"Oh my god, it was literally a coincidence," Rita Ora replied.

“I didn't even think about that, I swear. And it wasn't a "J", it was an "R". They turned it upside down and then it looked like a 'J,'" he explained.

Rita Ora has revealed that the bra was "her own design" from her collaboration with lingerie brand Tezenis.

“That's what I mean, man. You must not believe everything. And that is the absurdity. I just had to put up with this until a good friend of mine, Katy Perry, gave me a hilarious “I'm Not Becky” badge. That's what the media does, isn't it?” he said.

Rita Ora and Katy Perry appeared wearing 'Not Becky' badges at a Met Gala after-party in 2016.

The 32-year-old singer went to court against Roc Nation executives in 2015 to be released from her contract, and they reached a settlement in 2016.
