Adele believes the documentary is a way to "make amends" for postponing her Las Vegas shows.
Adele is reportedly planning a TV documentary about her latest album '30', her love affair and the impasse of her Las Vegas shows.
The 34-year-old singer has a revealing documentary in the works, despite being known as one of the most private figures in the modern music industry.
The producers of the project, according to the British newspaper "The Sun", said that they are working hard to make the documentary "the most revealing work" of Adele to date, adding that the film will be "personal" and will deal with the career and how she deals with her global success.
A source told the paper about the documentary: "Adele feels she's let her fans down somewhat with the way the last twelve months have gone, particularly with the last-minute postponement of her Las Vegas shows, and feels this is a way to make amends".
"One thing's for sure, it's going to be must-watch TV," he continued.
“Although everyone knows her name, Adele is still quite mysterious as a person. Her life now compared to the time when her first album was released is unrecognizable," he stressed.
Adele returned to the stage earlier this month with two sold-out concerts at the 'BST' (British Summer Time) music festival in London's Hyde Park.
These were her first official concerts in five years. In January, Adele canceled her Las Vegas shows a day before they were scheduled to start, citing delays in equipment deliveries due to the pandemic.
Adele still stands by her decision to postpone her Las Vegas shows, saying in a recent interview: "I stand by that decision. I don't think any other artist would have done what I did, and I think that's why she was a such a big, huge story.
