Beyoncé Goes Naked on Stunning New Album Cover 'Renaissance'

Beyoncé has released the cover art for her highly anticipated new album 'Renaissance', due out in a few weeks.

The music star appears on the cover of her seventh album atop a hologram of a horse almost naked, with only some shiny silver chains covering her body parts.

Many Beyoncé fans have noted that the cover of "Renaissance" refers to John Collier's "Lady Godiva" painting from the 19th century, and that it also recalls a photo of Bianca Jagger on a horse at the legendary club "Studio 54" in New York.

Alongside the 'Renaissance' cover, Beyoncé took to her Instagram account to post a personal note about her new record.

"Making this album allowed me to dream and find a way out in a scary time for the world," the 40-year-old singer wrote.

“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous at a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without criticism,” he explained.

“A place free from perfectionism and overthinking. A place to shout, to release, to feel freedom. It was a beautiful adventure of exploration,” he continued.

“I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to get moving. Ha! And feel as unique and strong and sexy as you are,” Beyoncé concluded.

'Renaissance – Act I', Beyoncé's first solo album since 2016's triumphant 'Lemonade', will be released on July 29 and will contain 16 songs.

Beyoncé previewed her 'Renaissance' last week with the release of her single 'Break My Soul' featuring Big Freedia.

"Break My Soul," which samples Robin S.'s classic hit "Show Me Love," is a foretaste of the dance sound Beyoncé is expected to follow on "Renaissance."
