Olivia Rodrigo thrilled her fans at the stop of her "Sour Tour" tour in Toronto on Friday, April 29, when she welcomed a very special guest to accompany her on a classic pop-punk song.
During the first of two sold-out shows at Toronto's "Massey Hall", the 19-year-old singer hosted Avril Lavigne for a duet on the Canadian star's hit "Complicated" which broke in 2002.
"I'm so, so, so lucky because he came here tonight to sing with me," Olivia Rodrigo said, apparently happy, introducing the pop-punk princess. "Please applaud Avril Lavigne!" He continued.
Dressed similarly to plaid pleated skirts and black boots, the two music stars rocked together and exchanged lyrics to Avril Lavigne's popular song from the early 2000s, which was included on her debut album, "Let Go".
"I do not know what to do from now on," Olivia Rodrigo joked, shaking her head as Avril Lavigne left the stage.

Avril Lavigne later shared her excitement about the duet with Olivia Rodrigo on social media.
"I went up to sing 'Complicated' on stage with Olivia Rodrigo in Toronto tonight," she wrote on Instagram. "It was very sweet that I appeared with you tonight on the" Sour "tour. Have an incredible tour my girl. Keep tearing. I send you a lot of love ", he continued.
The young pop star is adapting "Complicated" from the start of her "Sour Tour" tour in early April. The program also includes a performance of Verruca Salt's "Seether".
The two singers have repeatedly expressed their admiration for each other, while last December, Olivia Rodrigo received the award for the Variety Year Singer of the Year from Avril Lavigne.
