Florence Welch also collaborated with Dave Bayley of Glass Animals on the production of the original version of "My Love".
Immediately after the announcement of the release of their fifth album, "Dance Fever", Florence + The Machine released the new single "My Love". Now, the single is getting a new remix from its co-producer, Dave Bayley, frontman and producer of the leading British band Glass Animals.
"My Love" was created when Florence Welch began working with Dave Bayley to shape the lamentations she wrote during the lockdown.
While it began as a "sad little poem", "My Love" evolved from an audio track to its current form when Dave Bayley suggested using a synthesizer to extend it to become an energy-overflowing anthem.
With Dave Bayley's love of synths and Florence Welch's fascination with all the gothic and creepy themes in general, their collaboration on the production gave much of the song a sound reminiscent of "Nick Cave at the club".
The remix upgrades "My Love", without losing any of the power or feeling of its original version.

Glass Animals' Dave Bayley said of the remix: "I feel so lucky to have been able to learn from Florence and work with her. It's genius! And one of the most natural and authentic lyricists / producers / artists on the planet ".
"He had such a strong and brilliant vision for the album, lyrically, acoustically and visually, so we made sure to stay in this space while working on the tracks," he continued.
"For the remix I thought it would be fun to try to get away from this world a bit and create something as heavy and clubby as possible, while leaving her incredible voice and strong words to be in the spotlight and convey the whole thing. song. "I can't wait for everyone to hear the rest of what he has created with this album!" He said.
"My Love" is along with "King" and "Heaven Is Here" the first three songs from Florence + The Machine's new album "Dance Fever" which will be released on May 13.
The three songs were unveiled a few days apart and are accompanied by an excellent music video directed by Autumn de Wilde and choreographed by Ryan Heffington.
