The return of Harry Styles caused a frenzy.
Harry Styles' new single "As It Was" broke two big records on Spotify on its first day of release.

"As It Was" is the first sample from Harry Styles' third solo album, "Harry's House", which will be released on May 20 and will be followed by the "Fine Line" of 2019.


 
Spotify confirmed that "As It Was" became the song with the most streams in the United States in just one day, breaking the previous record held by Olivia Rodrigo with her song "Drivers License".

According to the data, "As It Was" recorded 8.3 million streams in one day in the United States on the first day of its release, on Friday, April 1, while the "Drivers License" previously held the record with 8 million streams .

Harry Styles' "As It Was" garnered 16.1 million streams worldwide on its first day of release, a record number for the song with the most streams worldwide on Spotify in one day for 2022 so far.

The 28-year-old singer's new single impressively broke Anitta's "Envolver" record of 7.27 million streams on March 25th.


 
At the same time, "As It Was" is the third single with the most streams in one day in the Spotify chronicles, behind Adele's "Easy On Me" (19,749,704 streams) and "All I Want For Christmas Is You »By Mariah Carey (17,420,085 streams).

Harry Styles recently announced the addition of extra concerts in the UK and Europe as part of his "Love On Tour" tour.

Demand for the former One Direction member's upcoming concerts was so overwhelming that the tour ticket service for his tour collapsed last January.
