Ellie Goulding recently opened up about experiencing her "toughest moments" in 2024.
The British singer-songwriter commemorated the New Year by sharing a montage of video clips on Instagram, showcasing moments from throughout the year.
In her caption, Ellie reflected on the challenges she faced, including her divorce from Caspar Jopling, which was announced earlier in 2024. "It's strange how the hardest times can coincide with feeling most alive," she wrote. "God, you're welcome, 2025."
The "Love Me Like You Do" artist also expressed gratitude for the important people in her life. "Sending love to my amazing son, the incredible women around me, and my fans," she shared. "Your support means everything to me, and I wouldn't be here without it."
The accompanying video compilation featured Ellie dancing, spending time with her four-year-old son Arthur, posing for photoshoots, and performing on stage.
In February, the singer revealed that she and Caspar had decided to end their four-year marriage. However, in her announcement, Ellie reassured fans that they remain "the closest of friends" and are "successfully co-parenting" their son, born in 2021.
Ellie’s post follows recent news of her sixth studio album, which she described as deeply personal. While she hasn’t disclosed the album's title or release date, fans are eagerly awaiting its debut.
