Chappell Roan reacts strongly to news of management split

Chappell Roan did not hold back her frustration when an outlet revealed her split from her management team. The 26-year-old singer, who gained significant recognition this year with her album *The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess*, has been dealing with a series of controversial headlines, including altercations with photographers on red carpets, backlash over her political views, and last-minute cancellations of live performances.

On Monday, *Billboard* shared an Instagram post confirming that Roan had parted ways with her management team. "Chappell Roan has split with her management team, sources confirm to Billboard," the post read. The announcement came shortly after the rising star received her first Grammy nominations, including in all four major categories. Notably, the congratulatory post from State Of the Art—the company that had managed her under Nick Bobetsky—did not mention her nominations, fueling speculation about their split.

In response to the post, Roan commented directly, expressing her displeasure with the outlet's report, writing, "Yall suck for this." Her fans quickly rallied to her defense, with one supporter commenting, "That's so horrible, please know that you are heard and respected by your community."

Amidst the turbulent period, Roan had also canceled several festival appearances in September. She explained her decision to fans, stating, "Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks, and I am really feeling it. I need some time to prioritize my health and take care of myself."
