Mariah Carey is celebrating the 30th anniversary of ''All I Want for Christmas Is You'' with a re-release of the song.

Mariah Carey is set to re-release her iconic holiday hit, "All I Want For Christmas is You." The 55-year-old singer originally debuted the festive track in October 1994 as the lead single from her album *Merry Christmas*. Now, to mark the song's 30th anniversary, she is re-releasing it alongside a new edition of the *Merry Christmas* album.

The R&B superstar announced the news on Instagram, where she recreated the album's original cover, dressed in a Santa-inspired, fur-trimmed jumpsuit. In her post, Mariah wrote, "While it’s definitely not time to play Christmas music yet, I wanted to give you a sneak peek of #MerryChristmas30! Paying tribute to the original album cover, here’s the new artwork for two of the four new physical singles of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'... available for pre-order now!"

When *Merry Christmas* first came out in 1994, it sold 15 million copies worldwide. Mariah co-wrote "All I Want For Christmas is You" with producer Walter Afanasieff, and the song, which was created in just 15 minutes, continues to earn Mariah approximately $600,000 in royalties each year.

In addition to the re-release, Mariah is embarking on a North American Christmas tour. The holiday-themed tour will kick off on November 6 at the Yaamava Theatre in Highland, California, and will include 20 shows across the U.S. Stops include Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, and more, before wrapping up with two nights in New York City: one at UBS Arena in Belmont Park on December 15, and the final show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 17.
