Taylor Swift: Signed guitar sold for 0,000 to support children with cancer

Taylor Swift's autographed guitar broke the box office.

A signed Taylor Swift guitar sold for $120,000 to support children with cancer.

Country singer Toby Keith's charity has revealed the top-grossing items in its 2023 OK Kids Korral auction for children battling cancer and their families.

And while trips to Europe, meetings with Toby Keith himself and autographs from other famous personalities raised a lot of money, a signed guitar from Taylor Swift broke the coffers during the auction held earlier this month.

Taylor Swift's autographed guitar sold for $120,000, bringing the charity event's total proceeds to a record $1.8 million, according to the release.

Meanwhile, $80,000 was the winning bid for the chance to go on a fishing trip with Toby Keith and $70,000 won one lucky person a private dinner with the singer.

Also, a guitar donated by Lon Helton of Country Countdown USA sold for $44,000.

The auction offered additional autographs from Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Cole Swindell, Jordan Davis, Brantley Gilbert, Russell Dickerson, Brett Young, Ingrid Andress, Maren Morris, Luke Bryan and Jelly Roll.

In December, a Taylor Swift guitar from the recording sessions for her 'Midnights' album was auctioned to benefit the Raven Drum Foundation's '12 Drummers Drumming' event, which was created by Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen.

The organization raises money to support veterans in the military and security forces who are battling PTSD. The final bid for Taylor Swift's guitar was $12,500, according to the 12 Drummers website.

Earlier this year, Taylor Swift donated another acoustic guitar to benefit the Recording Academy's MusiCares charity auction to support musicians facing financial crises and medical needs.

The guitar was decorated with images from Taylor Swift's 'Evermore' album and was estimated to fetch up to $10,000.
