Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello 'not back together' after Coachella kiss

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello 'remain friends'.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello may have been seen kissing at Coachella over the weekend, but apparently they're "not back together.

The two pop singers have been dating since June 2019 and split in November 2021.

Two and a half years after their breakup, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were caught on camera kissing while attending a music festival in Indio, California.

However, a source told Page Six that fans shouldn't expect their romance to rekindle anytime soon.

"Shawn and Camila remain friends with a lot of love and history with each other, but they're not back together," the source claimed.

"They've stayed in touch since their breakup and decided to meet up at Coachella since they were both going," she added.

The source admitted that "one thing led to another as the night went on," adding that the kiss was a "one-time thing."

In February, Camila Cabello split from Austin Kevitch after less than a year of dating, while Shawn Mendes reportedly dated Sabrina Carpenter after his split with Camila Cabello, a rumor he has denied.

During an appearance on Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard, he clarified: "We are not in a relationship."

Rumors began to swirl when Shawn Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter arrived together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, although they did not walk the carpet together.

The paparazzi also snapped them enjoying a breezy afternoon stroll together in Los Angeles last month, fueling the rumors even more.

Shawn Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter were last seen together as they left Miley Cyrus' 'Endless Summer Vacation' album launch on March 9.

Announcing their separation in November 2021, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes wrote in a joint statement: "We have decided to end our relationship, but the love we have for each other as people is stronger than ever."

“We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We appreciate your support from the beginning and continue," they said.
