Victoria Beckham hits back at Spice Girls reunion rumours

Victoria Beckham couldn't commit to a tour, but is open to the idea of performing with holograms.
Victoria Beckham has rubbished rumors that she is rejoining the Spice Girls for a new world tour, leaving the band's fans disappointed.

Melanie C and Mel B, also known as Sporty Spice and Scary Spice respectively, recently hinted that another Spice Girls reunion was in the works and claimed they are "working all the time" to get Victoria Beckham back.

However, during an appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, Victoria Beckham denied for the umpteenth time that there is any thought of reuniting with the Spice Girls on stage.

“I had so much fun when I was in the Spice Girls. But I think now, with everything else I've done – with my fashion, and my own beauty company, four kids – I wouldn't be able to make a commitment like that,” she said.

After Victoria Beckham said no, Andy Cohen asked her if ABBA's hologram concerts in London – orchestrated by ex-Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller – is an idea she could say yes to.

"This is an excellent idea. It's a good idea," replied the fashion designer.

But Victoria Beckham clarified that she has not spoken to Simon Fuller about the possibility of a Spice Girls show with holograms, but Cohen urged her to do it: "I think you should."

Despite her reluctance to return to the Spice Girls, she assured that she retains her love for the rest of the band and their music.

“I had such a good time with the Spice Girls. I love girls. "I really like singing Spice Girls when I do karaoke," she said.

The Spice Girls last reunited in 2019 for a UK-wide tour, without Victoria Beckham.

Now, the Spice Girls are gearing up for the arrival of 'Spiceworld 25', a 25th anniversary reissue of their second album, which will be released on November 4 and will include remixes, unreleased live tracks and a demo recording of 'Step To Me ” and the “Spice Girls Party Mix”.
