The concert celebration of her billion-stream hits is heading to the big screen
Miley Cyrus is taking her biggest hits to Paris, teasing fans with a playful online exchange before confirming her upcoming appearance at Spotify’s Billions Club Live — a one-of-a-kind performance that promises to be unforgettable.
It all started when Spotify tweeted a lyric from her track End of the World — “Let’s go to Paris, I don’t care if we get lost in the scene” — and tagged her directly: “@MileyCyrus, you coming?”
Miley didn’t keep us waiting. “I’ll meet you there. Next week. #BillionsClubLive,” she reposted, sealing the deal with just the right amount of mystery and hype.
A Stage Built for a Billion
Spotify launched Billions Club Live in December 2024, kicking things off with The Weeknd in Los Angeles in front of just 2,000 fans — handpicked from his top listeners on the platform. The idea? Celebrate artists whose tracks have surpassed one billion streams.
Naturally, Miley is part of that elite club. From Wrecking Ball and We Can’t Stop to Angels Like You, Party in the U.S.A., and of course, her global anthem Flowers — now with over 2 billion streams.
The Return of Miley, Live and Intimate
This Paris performance comes hot on the heels of her latest album, Something Beautiful, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. It’s her first full-length project since Endless Summer Vacation in 2023, and fans are already hoping to hear Flowers live on the Paris stage.
The moment is especially meaningful, considering Miley’s rare approach to touring in recent years. She’s opted out of traditional large-scale tours, choosing instead to perform in intimate, curated settings — like the exclusive listening party she hosted at Chateau Marmont. In 2023, she even publicly said she had no immediate plans to tour again.
A Concert Film for the Summer
Can’t make it to Paris? You’re still in luck. Spotify has confirmed the performance will be filmed and released as a concert film later this summer. Fans around the world will be able to experience the magic from wherever they are.
