"We Belong Together" has taken on a new meaning for Mariah Carey in the pandemic.
Mariah Carey is releasing a seven-minute remix of the classic song "We Belong Together" from her 2005 album "The Emancipation of Mimi".

Last week, the American diva presented a part of the remix in a special appearance that was videotaped for the show "Live with Kelly and Ryan".

Mariah Carey personally produced and orchestrated this new edition of "We Belong Together" entitled "Mimi's Late Night Valentine's Mix". while making the second voices.

"More will come. "I feel inspired!", The singer noted in a post on Twitter.

"We Belong Together" topped the Billboard Hot 100 and received four Grammy nominations in 2006, including a Song of the Year nomination. She eventually won the awards for Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Performance.

Now that we are facing the pandemic and facing what we are facing, "We Belong Together" is really even more of a message than it was when we first wrote this song, because we really "belong to each other", which means everything. "Mariah Carey told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest about the new meaning the song has taken in the pandemic.

"So let's hope that a little later, when things are reconciled with the pandemic, we will all be together again," he added.
