'Gossip' will be released shortly before the arrival of Måneskin's new album.
Måneskin have announced a new single featuring Tom Morello titled 'Gossip'.
The song will be released on January 13, 2023 and is expected to be included on the Italian band's third album, titled 'RUSH!', which is set to follow a week later on January 20.
'Gossip' features Tom Morello, lead singer and guitarist of Rage Against The Machine, with whom the members of Måneskin pose in a new photo they posted on their social media accounts today.
As of this writing, the tracklist for 'RUSH!' has yet to be released.
Other songs released this year by the band that could be included on the album include 'The Loneliest', 'Supermodel' and 'If I Can Dream', the latter of which is featured on the soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann's film 'Elvis'.
We still don't know what 'Gossip' might sound like, however Måneskin's band have stated that the album as a whole is inspired by Radiohead.
Måneskin explained during a recent video chat with NME as part of their 'In Conversation' section how they drew inspiration from the great band during the creation and recording of their upcoming new album 'RUSH!' .
“We tried to experiment a bit more with the sound. We listened to a lot of Radiohead where they work a lot with pedals," said the band's bassist, Victoria De Angelis.
Explaining the influence of Radiohead, David Damiano said: "I think the inspiration we got from Radiohead was to be very focused on creating a very specific world for each song."
“It's something they do very, very well, so we tried to create these amazing atmospheres. They really create an image of what you're hearing and that gave us inspiration," he noted.
