BLACKPINK's Lisa has her sights set on collaborating with Doja Cat.
The 27-year-old K-pop sensation shared that the 29-year-old 'Agora Hills' rapper is at the top of her dream list for future musical partnerships. During an interview with Audacy, when asked about her desired collaborations, Lisa said: “Right now, Doja Cat comes to mind. I love her. Doja Cat is definitely my next goal.”
Earlier this summer, Lisa teamed up with Spanish pop star Rosalía, 32, on the song ‘New Woman’ and was amazed by her professionalism and artistry. Speaking about Rosalía, she said: “She’s incredible, such a professional. Every take she did was flawless, like she was completely in her element. She stays true to her identity through her music and art, and that’s something I aspire to—maintaining my own identity.”
In other collaboration news, Lisa's fellow BLACKPINK member ROSÉ recently worked with Bruno Mars on the hit single 'APT.' The song, named after a South Korean drinking game, features a playful music video where Lisa playfully kisses Bruno on the cheek. 'APT' is the lead single from ROSÉ's highly anticipated debut solo album, 'rosie,' which is set to drop on December 6.
Meanwhile, Lisa, who recently made her solo debut at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with performances of 'Rockstar' and her latest track 'Moonlit Floor,' has reassured fans that BLACKPINK is not going anywhere.
Although Lisa has launched her own artist management company, LLOUD, and is working on a solo album, she emphasized that BLACKPINK—consisting of Jennie, 23, ROSÉ, 27, and Jisoo, 29—has no plans to disband. In a recent interview with ELLE US, she said: “We’re definitely continuing. I’m so proud of BLACKPINK, and I love it. It’s not just for our fans, but for us too. There was never any doubt—this is our life.”
