Lil Nas X To Release New Song For League Of Legends

League Of Legends creator Riot Games has announced that Lil Nas X has created a new song titled 'Star Walkin' for the game's Worlds 2022 tournament.

"Star Walkin'" will be released on Friday, September 23, just days before the start of Worlds 2022 in Mexico City.

Lil Nas X also announced that he will be performing a live set at the League Of Legends Worlds Championship Finals, which will be held at the Chase Center in San Francisco on November 5th.

Before his appearance, a skin designed by Lil Nas X and Riot Games for a new League Of Legends hero named K'Sante, The Pride Of Nazumah will be released.

"Prestige Empyrean K'Sante" will be released on November 3rd, and players have until November 14th to unlock it via Worlds 2022 Tokens.

Lil Nas X commented, “I felt like it was time to try something new. I've made my mark on pop culture in so many ways, and now it's time to take on the world of gaming."

"I will be the greatest League of Legends president ever," he continued.

“Also, I'm going to make the best Worlds anthem ever and host the biggest, coolest, sexiest Worlds in the history of all Worlds! "Star Walkin' is the only song anyone is allowed to listen to from now on," he said.

Naz Aletaha, global head of League of Legends Esports at Riot Games, said the company's team has been "impressed" by Lil Nas X's "vision, passion and undeniable style."

Riot Games continues with Lil Nas X in a long line of music collaborations.

Netflix's 'Arcane' animated series for 'League Of Legends', set for release in 2021, used songs from PVRIS, Pusha T and Denzel Curry and dropped a remix of Imagine Dragons' 'Enemy' featuring rapper JID .

Imagine Dragons released the 2014 Worlds tournament anthem with their song 'Warriors'.
