Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are making chart history with their soaring ballad Die With a Smile, which continues to dominate the global music scene. The song has now claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 for an incredible 15th consecutive week. Simultaneously, it returns to No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for the 12th time, proving its widespread international appeal.
Originally topping the charts in September 2024, Die With a Smile has remained a fixture at the summit ever since. Between March 28 and April 3 alone, the track amassed 95.1 million streams and 6,000 global sales, matching the 15-week No. 1 streak of Harry Styles' As It Was. It now sits just four weeks shy of the all-time record—Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You and its 19-week reign.
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande storms back onto the scene with Twilight Zone, her latest single that debuts at No. 7 on the Global 200 and No. 8 on the Global Excl. U.S. The track is featured on the deluxe edition of her album Eternal Sunshine, which has reclaimed the top spot on the U.S. Billboard 200.
Elsewhere on the Global 200, APT. by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars holds at No. 2, Alex Warren’s Ordinary rises to No. 3, and Doechii’s Anxiety and Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather round out the top five.
The Global Excl. U.S. chart mirrors similar movement: APT. dips to No. 2 after a remarkable 19-week run at the top, followed by Ordinary, like JENNIE, and Anxiety completing the Top 5.
Launched in 2020, Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. rankings are based on streaming and sales data from over 200 countries, compiled and verified by independent analytics firm Luminate.
