Lady Gaga has secured the top spot on the Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart with her latest single, “Abracadabra”, marking her second No. 1 hit on the chart in recent years. The track dethroned Tate McRae’s “It’s Ok I’m Ok”, which had dominated for four consecutive weeks.
A Spectacular Billboard Debut
The song premiered on February 2 during the Grammy Awards, where Gaga also debuted its official music video. Despite having only five days on the Billboard chart, “Abracadabra” achieved impressive numbers:
13.7 million streams in the US
1.3 million radio plays
10,000 digital copy sales
Even with a short tracking period, the track posted rare sales and streaming figures for a debut single.
Additionally, “Abracadabra” entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 29, alongside:
“Die with A Smile” (No. 1, feat. Bruno Mars)
“Disease” (No. 27)
With three singles already in the Top 40, Gaga is experiencing her strongest chart momentum since 2013’s Artpop, ahead of her upcoming album “Mayhem”, set for release on March 7.
Lady Gaga's Dance-Pop Dominance
Gaga has a long history of topping the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart with hits such as:
“Bad Romance” – 1 week at No. 1
“Born This Way” – 1 week at No. 1
“Rain on Me” (feat. Ariana Grande) – 4 weeks at No. 1
“Poker Face” – 15 weeks at No. 1
Her debut album, The Fame, has ruled the Top Dance Albums chart for 193 weeks and, remarkably, 569 weeks after its release in 2008, it has returned to No. 2!
Gaga’s Triumphant Return
With "Mayhem" on the horizon, Lady Gaga appears poised to dominate the charts once again, proving her enduring impact on the dance-pop genre.
The queen of pop is back, and she’s taking over once more!
