J Balvin postpones his tour due to the pandemic

The pandemic caused "unforeseen difficulties" in the production of J Balvin's tour.
J Balvin has announced that he is postponing his "Jose Tour" tour due to production problems due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 36-year-old Colombian singer expressed his regret for the change of plans in a letter to his fans that he posted on Instagram, in both English and Spanish.

"Throughout the past year, we have worked tirelessly to offer you an exciting and immersive experience on the Jose Tour, where everyone will feel welcome at the party," he wrote.

"Covid brought some unforeseen difficulties in the production and I could not keep my promise to give you the best possible show. "Because I think you deserve it, I made the difficult decision to postpone the tour," he continued.

"All the details are still being worked on by my incredible team, but we will give you the new dates in the coming weeks and we will respect your tickets. "I am constantly in awe of all your love and support and I look forward to seeing you on tour, where we will celebrate together and continue the beautiful atmosphere," said J Balvin.

According to People, production difficulties arose as soon as J Balvin began rehearsing for his tour last week and it became apparent that parts of the overall organization and design, as well as the 360-degree stage, would face restrictions that would affect the show.

J Balvin then decided to postpone his tour.

The six-week Jose Tour was originally scheduled to begin April 19 in San Antonio, Texas, and end in Puerto Rico on June 4.

Last month, J Balvin joined forces with Ed Sheeran on two new songs titled "Sigue" and "Forever My Love", which were included in a joint release. "Sigue", in fact, went up to No. 1 Latin Airplay Chart in the United States.
