Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds prepares his own videogame

July 13, 2021

Dan Reynolds has revealed that he is preparing a multiplayer PC game and hopes that its development will be completed this year.

Speaking to gaming magazine "Level One", the lead singer of Imagine Dragons referred to his love for video games throughout his life and said that during the last year he is preparing a new videogame with his brother and manager, Mac.

"He is also my best friend and we always talked about creating a video game. "So I finally convinced him and I said, 'We're going to do it between the albums,'" he explained.

Dan Reynolds said he had planned to move away from music "for a while" and commented that he "always had an idea in the back of his head" about the videogame, which he said would be completed "in the coming months".

The game will be available "definitely" on computers, while there is a possibility that it will be released later on consoles.

"It simply came to our notice then. "We financed it all ourselves, my brother and I and we have formed an incredible team," he continued.

"It's the most fun thing I've ever done. "I do the whole soundtrack, I do the voices, I did all the sketches of the characters and then we brought in really great artists to do everything better than I could do," he said.

Meanwhile, Imagine Dragons announced that on September 3 they will release their new album "Mercury - Act 1" and presented the single "Wrecked".
