Hotel manager accused in Liam Payne's death

The hotel manager and receptionist at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, have been charged in connection with Liam Payne's death, according to new documents obtained by Page Six.

The documents identify Esteban Reynaldo Grassi, the receptionist manager who called 911 moments before the former One Direction star fell to his death, and Gilda Agustina Martín, the operations manager. It remains unclear what specific charges they face, but a judge has called for both to be notified and summoned to give statements on December 19.

Two other individuals, waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz and Uriel Alejandro Astengo, are due in court on December 17, accused of supplying drugs to Payne. Additionally, Payne's friend, Rogelio "Roger" Nores, is facing charges of "abandonment of a person followed by death."

Liam Payne tragically died on October 16 at the age of 31 after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room. Following court appearances, a judge will decide whether the individuals will be prosecuted, cleared, or if insufficient evidence warrants dismissing the case entirely.
