Geri Halliwell has sparked excitement among Spice Girls fans by hinting at a long-awaited reunion of the legendary girl group.
The 52-year-old singer, who rose to fame alongside Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham, revealed in an interview with The Times that a full-scale comeback may be on the horizon.
"I hope we all come back together as a team. It's more respectful to come as one," she shared, emphasizing the enduring bond among the group members. "We shared something unique. We always believed in each other and had trust, which is wonderful."
The last time the Spice Girls performed as a complete group was at the 2012 Olympics. Since then, Victoria Beckham has remained focused on her fashion career and opted out of subsequent reunions.
Addressing Name Change Rumors
During the same interview, Halliwell also addressed speculation about changing her last name to Halliwell-Horner to distance herself from her husband, Christian Horner, the Red Bull Formula 1 team principal.
"That’s nonsense," she stated unequivocally. "It’s just my pen name. Legally, I haven’t changed anything—Horner is the name on my passport."
Halliwell and Horner have been married since 2015 and share a son, Monty, born in 2017. The singer also has an 18-year-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna Halliwell, from a previous relationship.
