Miley Cyrus just added her name to Hollywood history. The pop superstar now has her very own star on the legendary Walk of Fame—a place she used to stroll as a wide-eyed kid, never imagining her name would one day shine alongside her idols.
Fresh off the success of her visual album Something Beautiful, Miley took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her emotions in a post laced with nostalgia and gratitude. “When I first came to LA from Nashville, my family stayed at a hotel on Hollywood Blvd,” she wrote. “At night, I’d walk with my dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, back when no one recognized him. We had the whole street to ourselves, popping into gift shops, buying fake Oscars and Marilyn Monroe souvenirs. Now my name is forever etched on this boulevard, right next to the stars that inspired me. Feels like a dream.”
She continued, “This moment will live forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who made this dream a reality. I share this with all of you.”
The honor comes just weeks after Miley famously used the Walk of Fame as a set in Something Beautiful, rolling across the stars of other celebrities in raw, nighttime scenes that became instant fan favorites. During a chat with Jimmy Kimmel, she even revealed that the artistic choice came with a price: a nasty knee infection. “The doctor took one look and just said, ‘Yikes.’ And this is a guy who’s seen everything the human body has to offer!” she joked.
Now Miley joins a legacy list that includes Michael Jackson, Elton John, and Carole King. She’s part of the Walk of Fame’s 2025 class of honorees alongside Josh Groban, Demi Moore, and Molly Ringwald—a group as iconic and eclectic as Miley herself.
